Day 1 of 31 day blog challenge: Introduction

Hey y’all!

Ok, so let me tell y’all why I’m excited about this challenge. For weeks I have been mulling over different topics and asking myself what do I wanna talk about. Nothing stood out.

Fast forward to today and I’m laying in bed, browsing through Pinterest (my new favorite past time), and guess what pops up right on time? Yup. Fun & interesting blog post ideas.

Day 1 is an introduction. Those of you who follow my blog know about me, but for those of you who are new, I’llcatch you up. I am an author, scriptwriter, visual artist, passion enthusiast, and mother of 2 girls.

I have 20 years worth of journals and refer to myself as the Human Vault, because so many people have shared their stories and deepest secrets with me, which, in turn, I make apart of my storytelling in books, scripts, etc. (like most writers do. I know y’all saw The Best Man).

My ultimate goal is to create content for a living and get paid well for it. Some of my idols are: Tyler Perry, Shonda Rhimes, Ellen, Issa Rae, and, of course, Oprah.

When I started this blog a few years ago, I spent a lot of time adding my writings and such. That has shifted to vlogging, and less “written” content. My plan is to have a healthy balance of both, which is another reason why I’m stoked about this 31 (now 30) day challenge. #1dayDown

So, I hope yall will follow me for the next month to see what I’ll be sharing. You never know what’s gone come out of my mouth…#AintNoTelling (BTW I 💜 hashtags & use them excessively. Consider yourself warned)…hashtag don’t say I didn’t warn ya.
